I've attended several performances at Segerstrom Concert Hall, mostly featuring the excellent Pacific Symphony. The hall is beautiful and has wonderful acoustics, merely the sightlines can be mediocre to poor, particularly on the sides of the auditorium. In some of the box seats, you almost need to lean over the railing to meet the stage. The Orchestra Terrace seats seem to have the best balance of view and value.

When getting tickets to the Pacific Symphony, be sure to purchase them from scfta.org rather than the symphony website. For some reason the symphony charges a ridiculous service fee of $xviii per social club compared to near $ii.50 per ticket through SCFTA.

Bought tickets for a vacation jazz evidence in the Samuelli Theater. It was gear up up with tables similar a jazz order. Not sure why considering you cannot take drinks within, except a canteen of water. What? No worries about a 2 drinkable minimum here! LOL (I've been to the ballet in the main theater and you can take your drinks inside so I'm not sure what the issue is hither.)

The crowd was very spread out which must have been disappointing for the performers. Tickets are all bought on line so you tin't "assemble round" space available. It looked empty.

Also—the security search of a purse that measures 6 x4 inches seems ridiculous.

The theater itself is beautiful (I was there in 2017), even so I recently tried to buy a pair of tickets online for my wife's altogether and they are SCAMMERS!

-The tickets were $144 a piece (144x2=288).
-And so, I added the ticket insurance (288+23.54=311.54)
-WITHOUT ANY KIND OF EXPLANATION, and in fine impress, the final full came to $415.82 (415.82-311.54=127.82)
-They tried to sneak an extra charge of $127.82 into the fine print!! That is nearly 50% of the ticket toll by the way.
-THIEVES, CON ARTISTS, SCAM. SHAME ON Y'all SEGERSTROM!

We went to see this show but we left less than half way through the show. It was nothing similar they have been bravado it out to exist in their constant propaganda. I would not get to run into information technology even if information technology was free. Waist of time and money!

We attended a concert at The Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London, England. Walking toward the venue, we noticed green lights and unmarried file lines. Empty your pockets, look into your purses, go through a metallic detector security. Attended the 40 minute pre concert talk and exited to order drinks for suspension and I went into the Cafe to look at the carte du jour for a future visit. Every bit I came out the door, a staffer was there to take me dorsum and to ask for tickets and by and large say that since I had come from the restaurant I was existence screened again. I had two tickets and only one person. This really caused concern as to where this "suspicious" person was. Really offended me at this point. As for the concert itself. The Hall is well-nigh flat until the last 3rd when some slight pitch begins, the seats are offset by only an inch. So, if as terminal night, a tall human being with a big head sits in front end of you lot, your view of essentially 1/three of the stage is a mass of dirty pilus. The Orchestra was professional and played well enough. I acknowledge that I have subscribed to the LA PHIL for many years and this is non Walt Disney Hall, acoustically, sight lines and staffing. But and then, in that location is no 405 to contend with.

Well, saw Shen Yun in London- a squeamish plenty trip the light fantastic prove, very colourful with a fleck of humour simply having just been to see Cirque De Solais in the Albert Hall, perhaps we were expecting something spectacular and were disappointed. . Null spectacular in Shen Yun . We were a fleck unhappy when we got domicile and did a chip of net earthworks as to the origins of Shen Yun: a persecuted religious group which moved from China to United states, founded in the 1980's / 90s. Fine and ok...,The Chinese government describes Shen Yun as a 'cult'..... but we did feel misled, unhappy and uncomfortable by the propaganda which pervaded the show from this religious cult. Later all, what kind of bear witness gives out gratis programmes to it'due south audience....

The perfect setting to enjoy a beautiful musical. The lighting and costuming was superb only outdone by the exceptional voices. Wow! Interesting but effective use of projection to create the sets. The music was infrequent and then Disney! All in all a very enjoyable evening! Thank you, Segerstrom for continuing to bring quality theatre to Orange County.

Nosotros went to Miss Saigon here and thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The venue is stunning, hands accessible, dandy parking and everything yous could want from a concert hall.
Miss Saigon was incredible, right to the heart of today, even though the events portrayed are decades old.
I imagine that almost whatsoever performance will be enhanced by the setting.
Fantabulous

What a wonderful play. The music, the setting, the story, all only beautiful.
One picayune matter, the sexual activity scenes at the first were a bit graphic when you are there with your children. No, they are not children, they are adults but they were uncomfortable as was I.
Seats were comfortable, staff was helpful, a very enjoyable evening.
